The fixture of the Eurocup 2021
Postponed one year due to the pandemic, the 2021 soccer Eurocup is held from June 11 to July 11. Malaysia citizens can be seen it on Astro Sports Arena
The opening match is played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Friday, June 11 for a Group A match between Italy and Turkey. It will then continue for a month of competition until the final on Sunday, July 11 at the legendary Wembley (England).
These are the main dates:
In accordance with the wish of former UEFA president Michel Platini, who had envisioned this pan-European Eurocup, thirteen cities in thirteen countries had initially been defined, but Brussels (Belgium) was later discarded. Therefore, the Eurocup in 2020 would have had to take place in twelve host cities, before being postponed for a year due to the pandemic. Eager to organize a tournament with an audience in the stands, UEFA finally ruled out Bilbao and Dublin on 23 April, due to the lack of guarantees regarding having spectators. The matches scheduled in Bilbao were transferred to Seville and those scheduled in Dublin are played in Saint Petersburg and London.
